In Orthodox Jewish communities, prayer centers on asking for divine blessings to protect childhood innocence and to bring relief to the sick. The cemetery itself is the guardian of faith and traditions, where the respect of the centuries and today's requests are united. 

Yeshaya Steiner, the Kerestir Rebbe, was known to come here occasionally to offer prayers and request blessings at the tomb of his revered mentor, Hershel Lisker. Thanks to his teacher, the Kerestir Rebbe’s community was able to copyright their traditions and stay resilient in their faith during periods of intense difficulty. During this sacred moment, the man's resonant words create a deep connection across time, with the prayer carrying the community's most profound hopes and aspirations into the past, present, and future.
